A VILLAGE MARKET

Generally the village market sits twice in a week. It is held in an open space on the outskirt (বাহির সংলগ্ন) of a village by the side of a river or a road. There are two kinds of market-one is daily market and the other is hat. A hat does not held like a daily market. In the village market, there are some permanent and temporary shops. The villagers gather there in the afternoon from different places for buying and selling goods. The village market sits in the afternoon and breaks up at dusk (ঈষৎ অন্ধকার) The villagers get rice, dal, oil. vegetables, fish, meat and all other daily necessaries from the market. Thus the villagers bears a vital (প্রাণবন্ত) Importance in the life of the village market.
