A VILLAGE FAIR

A village fair is a small exhibition (প্রদর্শনী)of fancy goods. Every year a fair is held in our village. It sits under a big banyan tree on the bank of the river. There are hundreds of stalls for selling various articles. Small traders come and build the tents. They sell ready made garments, weets, fancy goods, kites, dolls, balloons, ribbons, utensils and many other household cheap articles. These are very useful to the village women. There are a large number of sweet meat stalls. The children are fond of buying sweets. Besides these magic. circus etc, are arranged in this fair. The villagers are very proud of this fair and the children like it for special interest.
