JUTE

Jute is a kind of fiber. We get it from jute plants, Jute grows well in Bangladesh. It also grows in India, Thailand, China, Japan, and Indonesia. At first the farmers prepare the land. Then the seeds are sown in March and April. Jute grows eight to ten feet high. At first the farmers cut it and keep under water to rot. Then they take off its fiber and wash it in water and dry it in the sun. Then they sell it in the market. Various useful things are made from jute. Ropes, bags, sacks. carpets etc. are made from jute. It is golden in color and valuable. So it is called the golden fiber of Bangladesh.
